☕❤️ Meet Our July Adoption Fundraiser Family! ❤️☕

We are beyond excited to introduce Dave and Courtney Szymke of Kearney, Missouri, along with their two loyal Keeshonden sidekicks, Franklin and Chip!

For more than a decade, Dave and Courtney have been pursuing their dream of becoming parents. Their journey has been filled with hope, perseverance, heartbreak, and unwavering faith.

Dave is a 17-year Army veteran, author, historian, talented chef, and future stay-at-home dad. He is the kind of husband who wakes up early just to share breakfast with Courtney and packs her lunch before she heads off to school. His generosity, integrity, and servant's heart shine through in everything he does.

Courtney has dedicated the past 21 years to shaping young lives as a kindergarten teacher. Armed with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a master's degree in Special Education, she has earned Teacher of the Year honors at both the district and regional levels and has been recognized among Missouri's Top 32 Teachers. Her students lovingly know Dave and Courtney as Mr. and Mrs. Z.

Together, they share a deep love for children and spent ten years pursuing parenthood through fertility treatments. After multiple losses and an ultimately necessary hysterectomy, that chapter came to a close. But their story wasn't finished.

After a season of grief and reflection, Dave and Courtney felt called to pursue adoption.

Adoption is especially meaningful to Courtney's family. Her mother is an adoptee, giving Courtney a firsthand glimpse of the incredible love, connection, and belonging that adoption can bring.

Today, the Szymkes have completed their home study and are waiting to be matched through a domestic adoption program. Their hope is to build an open adoption relationship that allows their future child, affectionately known as "Baby Z," to grow up knowing their story began with extraordinary love, courage, and hope.

And now, you can become part of that story.

From July 1 through July 31, every bag of Six Picks Artisan Roasted Coffee purchased helps support the Szymkes' adoption journey. We will donate the proceeds from July sales directly to their Adopt Together account to help bring Baby Z home.
